Murray River

The Murray River in Dwellingup, WA, offers a serene freshwater fishing experience that attracts both novice and seasoned anglers. This picturesque river is particularly favoured for targeting Redfin, Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Marron, and Carp. Early mornings and late afternoons, especially during overcast days, present the best opportunities for a successful catch as fish are more active in low light. The dynamic nature of the river means that tide movement and wind can impact water clarity, influencing fish behaviour, so it's wise to stay alert to changing conditions. Whether you prefer bait fishing or lure fishing, the diverse habitat along the riverbank provides ample spots to cast your line. Always exercise caution and be mindful of the currents, particularly if you're venturing to more remote areas of the river.
